The Blur

I saw him in the rain…
Like a blur.
I followed his billowing cape,
Like a blur.

He had a certain allure,
He screamed danger,
But I couldn’t help myself.

I just chased him in the storm,
Felt fat drops on my cheeks
And didn’t care.
Not one bit.

I  just wanted to see his face,
I asked him to turn around,
But he walked on
Like a blur.
In the rain,
In the storm.

In the end we reached his lair,
I shivered in my wet dress.
He looked at me,
At my neck
And I knew I was undone.

He came near
And he bit me
And the world became a blur.
